On may 11th, the 3rd Walk-a-Mile in Her Shoes event was held in Lloydminster.  This is such a fun event to photograph and be part of!  All the proceeds go to the Lloydminster Sexual Assault and Information Centre and what a fun way to raise awareness to stop abuse against women.  Watching men walk a mile in red high heels definitely creates some smiles and laughs.  :)

On September 19th, The Lloydminster Sexual Assault & Information Centre (LSAIC) held its second Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event.  This event is such a wonderful fundraiser for the organization as well as a great way to bring awareness to violence against women and girls.  In case you haven't heard of this event what takes place is men wear amazing high heels and walk a mile in them as support to help stop the violence against women and girls.  As LASIC puts it,

A couple of weeks ago I decided to take a holiday to visit one of my closest childhood friends, Christine Cooper, who now lives in Miami.  She works in the world of event production and was hired as the Site Producer by ACT Productions the Executive Producers of this very cool event, The Miami Beach 100 celebrating the Miami Beach centennial!  As I would be in town for this event I was given the opportunity to have a media pass to photograph the event and what an amazing opportunity it was!

The Lloydminster & District Co-op proudly celebrated a 100 years this year and to celebrate this amazing event a fabulous dinner was held in Lloydminster on Wednesday.  This event showcased the history of the Co-op in the community and also had a super touching tribute to the amazing CEO Don Stephenson.  To top off such a great night, the legendary Gordon Lightfoot performed.

Last Friday a wonderful event took place in Lloydminster, Walk a Mile in Her Shoes.  If you haven't heard of this event, it is an international event where men wear high heels and walk a mile to stop rape, sexual assault, and gender violence.  This was the first year this event was held in Lloydminster and what a great event it was!  The organizers did an amazing job and the amount of money raised for the Lloydminster Sexual Assault and Information Centre doubled the expectations!

This year the 3rd and final Hartnell MacArthur Holtby Celebirty Golf Classic was held in Lloydminster and just like the previous years, what a awesome event it was!

A week ago, the Hartnell & MacArthur Celebrity Golf Classic was held in my hometown of Lloydminster and once again what an amazing event the be a part of.  Two of Lloydminster's NHL stars Clarke MacArthur and Scott Hartnell hosted what turned out to be another very successful fundraiser for their hometown.

CISN Country put on an intimate Luke Bryan concert for around 100 of his fans.  To be honest I have never really followed his music before but I must say I really impressed as he put on such a great show and even played double the original planned time.  I had a great night getting to photograph and meeting Luke Bryan!  Here are some of the photos from his performance :)

Last week in my hometown of Lloydminster the First Annual Hartnell-MacArthur Celebrity Golf Classic was held.  Scott Hartnell & Clarke MacArthur are two of NHL's finest hockey players and so happen to be from Lloyd so following in the footsteps of Wade Redden and Cory Cross (who held a similar event years ago), a charity golf tournament was organized with the proceeds going to many local charities including one of my favorites the Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation.
