Engagement

Casey + Louis are a gorgeous couple whose wedding I am so excited to photograph this fall!  For their engagement session we went out to my father's farm, one of my favourite locations!  It was such a gorgeous evening for photos, beautiful low sun, some clouds, and nice and warm!  We had so much fun driving around the farm yard and fields for photos, this couple was so much fun to photograph!  Here are some of the favourites from Casey + Louis' engagement session :)

Here is Lyndsie + Andy's beautiful Edmonton engagement session that took place at Henrietta Muir Park.  This location is so gorgeous for photos being right in the river valley!  We had a great time walking through the area and discovered little green worms can hang from trees which we made a note to avoid!  I love photographing Lyndsie + Andy, who claimed they were not photogenic when we first met but as you can see was a total lie! This couple is stunning!

I am so excited to photograph their wedding this coming Saturday! It's going to be so much fun :)

Candice and Luke first met back when they attended the same highschool, after graduation as what happens to many people you lose touch and go your separate ways.  Years later while both out at a local bar the two reconnected and well as the cliche goes; the rest is history! This couple is so adorable, I loved photographing every minute of their engagement session! They are so in love, so gorgeous, and have such an aura to them, it made my job easy!

Mavrick and Samantha met through motorcross as they were both super involved with the sport.  After a couple years of just being friends their relationship turned into something more and well now they are engaged and planning a wedding for next June!  We did their e-session out at their new acreage on a chilly but gorgeous fall evening!  Their driveway was such a magical location for photos with gorgeous trees lining it all the way down.  They are such a cute couple, and I had a great time photographing their engagement session :)

Congratulations Mav & Sam :)

Amy and Kyle first met over the phone as Amy was one of the dispatchers where her and Kyle worked, after chatting on the phone many times Kyle invited Amy to play in a ball tournament as they needed another girl and well from there as the cliche goes, the rest is history.  This couple is so super cute!  They have an adorable fur baby, Ila, who we also included in some of the photos as Kyle proposed by having Ila bring Amy the ring with a super cute note inside!

Here is another gorgeous couple, Eryn + Chris, whose wedding I can't wait to photograph next June!  For now here is their e-session that took place on a beautiful sunny day at Louise McKinney Park in downtown Edmonton :)

Here is a gorgeous e-session of a wonderful couple.  A & K both attended the University of Alberta School of Business but never really knew each other until after they both convocated.  It was after then that they started to date and now both call Calgary their home.  For their e-session we started at their gorgeous apartment and then went to Confederation Park.  It was my first time at Confederation Park and was a great location for photos!  So much greenery with scenic paths and bridges, it was such a great location for photos!

Justine and Rhys both met while attending the University of Alberta, and decided that although they are getting married back in Edmonton they wanted to have their engagement session in their current hometown of Calgary.  This couple is so cute!  They were so much fun to photograph and had some awesome location ideas.  I have never been to the East Village, but must say that old mattress factory is a photographer's playground!  We also toured around Prince's Island Park, one of my fave places in Calgary, as well as ventured around Stephen Ave downtown; I love shooting downtown Calgary!

Brenna + Luis met while they were both meeting up with a mutual friend at a pub in Brenna's hometown. As Brenna says who would have ever thought she would have have met her future husband that night. For their engagement session we went to one my favourite parks in Edmonton, Queen Elizabeth Park which has such beautiful greenery and a great path that has views overlooking the river valley. I has so much fun photographing their engagement session plus they have so much fun together that they created so many great moments to capture!

Labonneau and Chris met while both attending the same class at the U of A and happened to sit next to each other.  So it seemed very fitting to have their engagement session take place at the gorgeous Univeristy of Alberta.  Mother Nature was definitely on our side for the session, it had been lightly raining all morning and decided to stop for just long enough to capture this beautiful couple.  It could not have been any better, with the clouds the light was beautiful and being spring the cherry blossoms were out, it definitely became a great day for their e-session!
