Here is the first of an ongoing photographic series I am working on with the very talented make-up artist Bry-Anne Pearson.  This series is called #YEG Women in Business and with it our goal is to feature many of the amazing women entrepreneur/business owners in Edmonton and share their stories and promote their businesses.

'Forgotten' is my third installment into my series featuring 'dolls' and is a story about a doll whose family moved away and left her abandonned in their old home.

A couple of weeks ago I decided to take a holiday to visit one of my closest childhood friends, Christine Cooper, who now lives in Miami.  She works in the world of event production and was hired as the Site Producer by ACT Productions the Executive Producers of this very cool event, The Miami Beach 100 celebrating the Miami Beach centennial!  As I would be in town for this event I was given the opportunity to have a media pass to photograph the event and what an amazing opportunity it was!

Here is a photoshoot I did with Tyler from Vox Conditioning to showcase some of the training he does with bootcamps and one on ones as well as create some promo photos for Vox Conditioning.  I first started training with Tyler about a year ago and what a difference I started to see; I was stronger, had more muscle, and even more confident!

A couple weeks ago I posted some beautiful women and their gorgeous boudoir photos from their sessions at The Beauty Lounge.  Well Carole was one of those gorgeous women and after the boudoir session we decided to have a little fun and get some creative editorial shots.  This girl is stunning!  Here are some of the favourites from the editorial session :)

Renee is a gorgeous and super talented up and coming country music artist who came looking to some photos for her debut album.  She was looking for something country themed as Renee is a super sweet farm girl and wanted to showcase that side of her.  I loved this, and of course knew of the perfect location out at our farm; plus I knew we had an amazing restored old grain truck that work perfectly for some of the photos.

A client of mind was looking to do a differnt approach on a "boudoir" session for her man, more of a nude session with an artistic approach.  I loved the idea and we decided to have the session more about her body than her identity.  I booked space at the wonderful The Photographer Studio, which was such a perfect location.  It allowed us to use both studio lighting and natural light to create some cool portraits.

Here are some of the beautiful portraits from the session.

Welcome to my next installment of my dolls series.  My first was Welcome to Dollhouse over a year ago and this time I decided to transport my portrayal of human dolls to the woods where they are having a quaint little tea party.  My inspiration came to me when I went to a contemporary dance show and here were some beautiful dancers with balloons attached to them and from there the vision of three dolls having a tea party came to me.

A while back I once again collaborated with the fabulous Ange from Kenneth Blair in Lloydminster for another fun editorial photoshoot.  We decided to have some fun with this and go with a burlesque theme which we subsequently titled Rouge-Noir.  As was to be expected the models, Haley, Karlee, & Taylor, were fabulous and totally got into character which made it all the more fabulous to photograph them!

As you have probably already figured out one of my favorite charity organizations to work with is the Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation in my hometown of Lloydminster.  Although I am no longer based out of Lloyd I still enjoy helping out as the LRHF do so much for the community.  Once again this year I donated my time to photograph amazing stories of local people who have benefited from state of the art equipment to the Community Cancer Centre, which could have not been possible without the foundation.
