Here is a super fun family lifestyle session of a very awesome family!  The Winter family had purchased a lifestyle package at a charity silent auction and had decided to have their session this summer out at their acreage.  This place is gorgeous! So many paths with beautiful trees and beautiful home it was such a perfect setting!  I had so much photographing this family, the kids were so awesome with such great little personalities!  Here are some of the highlights from the Winter family's lifestyle session :)

I love to photograph to grads, it is always so much fun to capture them feeling amazing all dressed up with their hair and make-up (for the girls) all done!

Here is another gorgeous graduate from the class of 2014.  I had so so much fun photographing Zoe's grad lifestyle session, this girl was stunning and has such a super fun personality.  Plus Zoe's bestie Kim came for some photos and lots of laughs were definitely had during this session! For Zoe's grad portraits we went to downtown Lloydminster, which is such a great location! Lots of brick buildings and a cool old parkade make for some great backdrops! Here are some of the highlights from Zoe's grad lifestyle session :)

Congratulations Zoe! xo

Here is the first grad of the season, the gorgeous Amanda! For Amanda's session we went out to her grandparent's acreage and although the green hadn't started to form yet it was still beautiful out there! Amanda grew up coming out here and was telling me how as kids her and her sister would catch frogs in the pond and how she still loves to come out and ride the horses with her grandfather.  I love locations that have special meaning and we had so much fun going around the acreage to all the different areas.

A few weeks ago I had the honour of photographing Lydia + Jim and their family for their 40th wedding anniversary! I love to be part of these special occasions, seeing the love this beautiful couple still has for eachother after all this time is so heartwarming! As it was still a little chilly and not so green outside we decided to do their family session right in their beautiful home. It worked so great and as the whole family spends a lot of time together in their home it has special meaning as well.

The inspiration behind this session was a photo Darren had taken of him and his father on an old fork lift when he was a kid and to this day it is one of his favourite photos.  When he was telling me this story he mentioned he would love to have a session with his daughter in the shop at his work incorporating a fork lift and other items that could be found in the shop.  Darren's business is a family business that he took over from his father so it only seemed fitting that his parents be involved for a couple of photos as well.

Every couple years The McAllister family updates their family photos and this past summer they decided to book their session with me.  I was super excited as they had such great ideas for some photos and were wanting a fun session to capture their family.  We went out to my father's farm at Lone Rock, and had so much fun exploring the many different areas.  I loved photographing this family, they are so gorgeous and have such a great energy to them! They made my job so easy and so much fun!

Alanna and her husband Cory came out to my father's farm this past February for a fun lifestyle maternity.  They are expecting their first child within the next couple of months which is so super exciting!  It was definitely not a warm February day, but they were tough souls and braved the chilly wind for some gorgeous winter photos!  During the session we came accross and old shack that was empty inside and created a stunning backdrop for some of the photos, as well as a break from the wind.  Here are some of the highlights from this gorgeous winter maternity session :)

Kaeli and Karter are a gorgeous mother and daughter who decided it was time for some professional photos together.  Snow had fallen and it was a little chilly but the sun was out and it was still a beautiful day for a lifestyle session.  For their session we went out to my father's farm and took advantage of the leafless trees, old buildings, and the untouched snow.  There is just something so beautiful about photos in the winter with the snow!

I first met this beautiful family in the fall of 2012 when they booked a family lifestyle session out at their acreage.  This past winter they decided to book another lifestyle session in their yard, they wanted the same casual look to their photos but since this time it was winter we wanted to take advantage of the early snowfall and have some fun!  I love when I get to capture amazing moments with families especially when they book every year as it's so great to capture how much their young children change year to year!  Melanie, John, and their kidlets are so much fun!
